How it works

Here's how it actually works.

From the first click to a year on. No jargon. No fluff.

01First 3 weeks

Your first 21 days.

  1. 01 / 06Day 1

    You sign up.

You pick a plan. You pay. Takes two minutes. A receipt lands in your inbox. Then you get a link to the brief.

  2. 02 / 06Day 1 or 2

    You tell us your story.

A 10-minute guided form. Save and come back if you need to. If any of your answers need sharpening, we email or WhatsApp — no scheduled call. Most briefs go through without a single clarification.

  3. 03 / 06Day 3 to 5

A designer starts on your site.

A real person, not a template generator. You'll know who they are by name and see their photo in your dashboard.

  4. 04 / 06Day 5 to 7

    Your first mockup.

You click around. You send us what you like and what you don't — in plain English, over email or WhatsApp. "The blue's too corporate — can we try green" is a valid brief.

  5. 05 / 06Day 7 to 14

    Revisions.

Most sites need one or two rounds. A big redirection is fine. Small tweaks are faster. We turn around changes in 2 business days.

  6. 06 / 06Day 14 to 21

    We launch.

Final approval, then we go live. Domain connects. SSL provisions. We ping your Google Business Profile so Google knows there's a new website.

02After launch

The thing you stop thinking about.

The launch is the beginning, not the end. What we charge for, month after month, is the boring stuff that keeps it working.

03Two ways in

Two ways in. Same price.

Signing up online yourself.

Most people buy this way. You land on the site, pick a plan, fill in the brief in your own time. Our team picks it up from there. This is how 90% of customers start.

Working with a rep.

Some small businesses meet us at a trade show, get referred, or hear about us from their accountant. A rep walks you through the plans and can fill in the brief on your behalf.

You get the same product, the same price, and the same timeline either way. Reps don't come with a price premium.

04Included / not

What's included — and what isn't.

What we do
  • Design and build your website to your brief
  • Make it fully responsive — phone, tablet, laptop
  • Build to WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility — screen readers, keyboard nav, reduced-vision users
  • Tune for speed — Core Web Vitals, compressed images, lazy loading
  • Add structured data (JSON-LD) so Google can show your hours, reviews, and products in search
  • Cover the technical SEO basics — sitemap, canonical URLs, meta tags, robots file
  • Draft your site's legal pages — terms, privacy, cookie policy — written by our copy team with a compliance specialist
  • Add a cookie consent banner where local law requires it · handle 'Do Not Sell My Info' in California
  • Host it on a global edge network — fast everywhere, scales through traffic spikes
  • Set up your social media handles, then keep them healthy — online, spam comments cleared, suspensions appealed if they happen
  • Register and renew your domain (free while subscribed)
  • Issue and renew SSL certificates automatically
  • Monitor uptime and performance 24/7
  • Back up your site daily
  • Apply security patches
  • Make content updates you request
  • Generate monthly traffic reports
  • Write, publish, and promote a monthly blog (Growth+)
  • Run ongoing on-page SEO — keyword tuning as your pages evolve (Growth+)
  • Build and manage your online store (Commerce)
  • Integrate payment gateways and couriers (Commerce)
  • Run advanced SEO and review management (Commerce)
What we don't
  • Run your Google Ads / Meta Ads campaigns (available as an add-on; not bundled)
  • Run your social media day-to-day (we set up the accounts and keep them healthy; content pack comes with Growth+)
  • Write a book-length product catalogue for you
  • Provide accounting, tax, or legal advice
  • Take over your email account or customer database
  • Make strategic decisions on your behalf — we suggest; you decide
  • Handle your customer support tickets
05Questions up front

The things people always ask.

How do I cancel?

Email us or click Cancel in your account. Monthly plans end 30 days later. Annual plans refund unused full months. Your domain, content, and files come with you.

Who owns the website?

You do. We build it; you own it. If you ever leave, we transfer everything.

Do I need to be technical?

No. The whole point is you don't touch the tech.

What if you're not a fit?

Within your first 14 days, if we haven't started design yet, we refund the first month in full. After that, cancel any time with 30 days' notice. No exit fees either way.

How do I know you'll still be around in 3 years?

Fair question. We're a business; we plan to be. Worst case, you still own your domain and content — if something happened to us, you'd move to another provider with everything intact. That's the structure of the deal.

Ready to start?
